We are delighted to announce that we now have a PCR coronavirus testing kit available for purchase. These tests are conducted at home before being analysed by an independent laboratory and give high sensitivity and high specificity results. Dr Mayoni has been waiting for these tests to become available in the UK and is very pleased that we are now able to offer these to our patients.
The PCR test will test to see if you currently have Covid-19. Use this test if you suspect you currently have Covid-19 or suspect you have recently been exposed to it. The PCR test can detect Covid-19 even if you don’t yet have symptoms.
