I’m excited to announce that I am now offering Dermalux phototherapy treatments at The Clinic by Dr Mayoni.
This is an ingenious product that I’ve been interested in for some time now. Thanks to my new premises in Honor Oak Park, I finally have the space to offer it to my clients!
What is Dermalux phototherapy?
It is a form of light therapy – also known as phototherapy. This means the technology delivers light to the skin in doses designed to have therapeutic effects. Dermalux uses LED (light-emitting diode) technology to stimulate rejuvenation.
The treatment is clinically proven to treat a range of skin concerns. Effects include reducing the signs of ageing, tackling uneven or excessive pigmentation, and helping to correct environmental damage. Not only that, but it also helps treat and heal inflammatory conditions like rosacea, acne, psoriaris and dermatitis.
The skin is rejuvenated by the phototherapy with four key effects. The light therapy stimulates collagen production, destroys the bacteria that cause acne, reduces inflammation, and also increases hydration. The beneficial effects are many and varied!
And best of all: Dermalux is a totally non-invasive treatment. It is pain free and safe for all skin types, with zero downtime.
It also integrates beautifully with other skin treatments to give enhanced results. This means I can carefully tailor Dermalux sessions to your skin’s needs.
There are four different options available; LED Red Light, LED Blue Light, LED Near-Infrared Light and Combined Therapy. The best option for you depends on your skin’s requirements.
